One Minute of Fitness Inspiration – Steadfast

Steadfast – means resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering.  Without that kind of resolve, consistency in our pursuit of any goal is greatly jeopardized.  And without consistency, goals aren’t reached.  To be steadfast, you merely just need to make a decision.  When it comes to fitness and building a strong healthy body, consistency is everything.  Working towards our goals every once in a while won’t work.  We have to work towards them every day.  Often times we need a steadfast partner in fitness to meet us on the rainy days.  If you find yourself wavering in your efforts to achieve your fitness goals, seek out a steadfast friend or fitness professional who will meet you in the mud and muck and will hold you accountable to the commitment you made to yourself.  Here’s something I keep close to my heart and mind as a reminder of why I don’t let myself slip: From Psalm 51 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning.  Great is His faithfulness.”  Be steadfast, be consistent, be committed.  Have an inspired day.
